Led the Integration of a WebApp questionnaire builder into company platform. Re-architected message scheduling and sending within a client application using Hangfire. In an architectural role joined an ambitious company-wide project to integrate systems and break a monolithic MVC site to micro services. Worked with Talend on a data migration poc.

Lead role in a variety of clinical trial and mHealth projects. Part of a team of 2 responsible for upgrading a core product from web forms to MVC. Led development of the companies first (soap) web service to enrol patients. In partnership with microsoft developed a Win8 app ready for their launch day.

Joined this startup to help design build & maintain an enterprise web based MIS for the education sector. Gained a huge breadth of experience in this role ranging from developing with the beta version of .Net1 (& subsequent upgrades!) to sales support at yearly exhibitions and helping partners with product implementation plans. Learnt a lot about the industry and was involved in strategic initiatives, such as how we could integrate our offering with MS sharepoint.

Spent around 2 years at Penguin and Mediatel and a year at BOL (a casuality of the .com bubble burst) in a web production capacity. Started using HTML & Javascript & to a lesser extent SQL, commercially. Learnt how teams within the SDLC worked together. Also gained experience of customer technical support and learnt the importance of understanding the industry you are working in - whatever the role.
